Job descriptionPerform assessments according to unit standards and document on appropriate data bases or assessment flow sheets Initiate, utilize, and document protocols and standards of care Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or established protocols, and document accordingly Respond competently in emergency situations Assist with procedures, treatments, and surgical techniques or delegate to other healthcare team members as appropriate Uphold professional responsibility by maintaining current nursing standards of care and clinical protocols Minimum of two (2) years of current experience in a related specialty Valid nursing license in New Mexico or a Compact State BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from recognized providers such as the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Health and Safety EPIC electronic health record experience (training available) Experience working in a fast-paced environment Successful completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment.
