Position Function :

Responsible for performing various tasks on recently processed turkeys and supporting overall departmental operations.

Essential Duties, Functions, & Responsibilities :

Perform a variety of tasks, including repetitive manual labor to debone turkey meat.

Some tasks are performed using tools or equipment, while others are completed manually.

Monitor equipment operation and promptly notify appropriate personnel of any malfunctions or safety concerns.

Rotate through various functions within the processing department as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other Characteristics :

Follow all safety, USDA, and GMP policies and guidelines.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions & policies.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Ability to work at line speed following completion of the training period.

Maintain punctual and regular attendance for all scheduled shifts.

Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Must successfully pass a background check, drug screening, and pre-employment physical.

Some positions may require the ability to read, write, and speak English.

Physical Requirements :

Stand for 810 hours per day,

Lift up to 50 lbs.

Bend, stoop, twist, and squat as necessary.

Perform repetitive hand-intensive tasks, including tight gripping, grasping, pinching, and pulling.

Working Conditions :

Work in a damp and cold environment.

Work around loud, noisy machinery.

Work with or around chemicals, fumes, and strong odors.

Work with animal organs and waste.

Minimum Qualifications :

No minimum education requirement

No previous work experience required

Must be at least eighteen (18) years old

Must be eligible to work legally in the United States
