Our client, a leading global AmLaw 50 law firm , is seeking a talented Intellectual Property Associate Attorney to join its Life Sciences Litigation Practice . This position offers an exceptional opportunity to represent innovative companies in complex patent disputes and high-impact IP cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent writing and analytical skills, and substantive experience in life sciences patent litigation.
Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in the applicable jurisdiction , in good standing
- 2–7 years of substantive experience in intellectual property patent litigation , preferably focused on life sciences
Technical degree in biology , chemistry , pharmacology , or a related field is strongly preferred
Technical background requiredExperience drafting briefs and managing all phases of fact and expert discoveryStrong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skillsHighly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projectsCollaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environmentKey Responsibilities
Represent life sciences clients in patent and intellectual property litigation matters in federal district courts and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal CircuitDraft pleadings, motions, and briefs for complex patent casesManage discovery , depositions, expert reports, and document productionCollaborate with technical experts, clients, and cross-practice teams to develop litigation strategiesConduct legal and technical research related to pharmaceuticals , biotechnology , and medical devicesSupport trial preparation and participate in hearings , mediations , and settlement discussionsContribute to business development initiatives within the life sciences sectorWhy Join Us?

Compensation & Benefits
