Environmental Safety Manager

As an Environmental Safety Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing workplace safety and compliance. Your responsibilities will include :

• Conducting engaging safety meetings, thorough audits, and comprehensive inspections to ensure full compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Planning and executing preventative care and compliance training programs that empower team members to prioritize safety.
• Developing and managing a robust environmental safety and health program, tailored to our project site locations.
• Providing expert guidance to the project management team on health and safety regulations to ensure adherence to industry standards and legal requirements.
• Collaborating with management to create an effective Emergency Action Plan, acting as the primary contact for injury notifications, investigations, and case management.
• Maintaining detailed records of safety inspections, reports, and correspondence to track progress and ensure accountability.
• Ensuring all work aligns with approved manuals, internal policies, contractual obligations, and best engineering practices.
• Offering technical support to project managers, enhancing their ability to manage safety effectively.
• Overseeing project cost controls, budgets, and accounting records to ensure financial accountability.
• Monitoring project schedules, invoices, and submittals to maintain compliance and efficiency.
• Reporting project status to business and market leaders, ensuring transparency and alignment with company goals.
• Participating in team meetings and providing regular on-site presence to support safety initiatives.
