Exercise Specialist Position Summary

The Exercise Specialist in Bariatrics will focus on the evaluation and treatment of patients of the practice through fitness education and lifestyle modifications for patients with obesity and mobility limitations. The Exercise Specialist will also participate in support Groups for patient on Medical and Surgical weight loss programs. The Exercise Specialist was provide a strong understand in exercise science, behavioral changes, and chronic disease management, while providing expert guidance and support to patients on their weight loss journey.

Exercise Specialist Position Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science or Community Health Education, Kinesiology or related field required.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
