Aircraft Maintenance Technician

Tasks

• Responsibilities Structural Inspection : Perform thorough inspections of aircraft structures according to maintenance manuals and regulatory standards.
• Repair and Modification : Execute repairs and modifications on aircraft structural components using approved techniques and materials.
• Assembly and Installation : Assemble and install structural components and systems on aircraft, ensuring precision and adherence to engineering drawings.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and modifications performed, complying with regulatory requirements.
• Safety and Compliance : Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines during all tasks and operations.
• Team Collaboration : Work collaboratively with engineers, technicians, and other personnel to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality aircraft maintenance.
• Completes any or all structural rework / repair, squawks, and E.O.'s.
• Perform work of the level described herein, interpret complex blueprints and use arithmetic involving decimals and fractions.
• Must be able to utilize computer-based systems to perform duties.
• May be required to work in a confined space.
• Use arithmetic involving decimals and fractions. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
• Must be able to utilize computer-based systems to perform duties.
• Fabricate detail parts from blueprint or engineering instructionsRequirements
• Active Secret Clearance (required)
• A&P license (preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of experience on military aircraft
• OR 4 years of experience with civilian aircraft required
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining aircraft structures and relative tasks
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
• US citizenship or authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be willing to travel as required.
• Must be willing / able to work any shift or schedule.
• Structural Mechanics repair aircraft primary and secondary structure in accordance with OEM repair data or engineering drawings.

• Minimum 2 years of experience on military aircraft
• OR 4 years of experience with civilian aircraft required
