Job description

Job Title

This role is responsible for ensuring accurate charge capture, reconciliation, and reporting across various hospital departments.

The scope includes :

  • Collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources to develop reports and statistical information.
  • Entering, posting, and reconciling charges for clinical areas, including supporting inpatient units, procedure areas, and labs as needed.
  • Reviewing information for accuracy and reconciling data on a regular basis.
  • Compiling analytical and statistical reports on a regular basis and overseeing provision of ad hoc management reports.
  • Providing support and education to staff on accessing reports and interpreting data.
  • Assisting department managers with charge reconciliation to ensure compliance.
  • Serving as backup during staff absences or onboarding of new team members.

Education :

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree / Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Additional Preferences :

  • Comfortable working with leaders at multiple levels and collaborating across teams.
  • Experience with charge reconciliation, coding, or revenue cycle processes.
  • Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
  • Detail-oriented and able to identify errors or discrepancies in data and reports.
