Risk Manager, Legal Risk Office (Hybrid)
The Capital One Legal department is seeking a Risk Manager for its Legal Risk Office. This role will involve leading efforts to ensure that Legal risk processes and work are robust, well-managed, and continuously improved while also driving initiatives to assess and manage risk within defined boundaries.
In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, execution, and oversight of various components within Legal's risk management programs. This includes adapting to evolving requirements, ensuring quality assurance, and providing comprehensive reporting to facilitate risk governance and decision-making. Your efforts will ensure the department is optimally positioned to maximize its value to Capital One.

This role is hybrid meaning associates spend 3 days per week in-person at one of our offices listed on this job posting. Fridays are enterprise wide virtual work days. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are options for in-person days for associates to spend time together working in our beautifully-designed team areas.
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA : $146,100 - $166,700 for Risk Manager
New York, NY : $159,400 - $181,900 for Risk Manager
Richmond, VA : $132,800 - $151,600 for Risk Manager
Riverwoods, IL : $132,800 - $151,600 for Risk Manager
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and / or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
