Data Platform Engineer

A company is looking for a Data Platform Engineer, Data Capture.

Key Responsibilities

Expand developer tools for capturing business events and operational data into the Lakehouse

Enhance self-serve frameworks for building data pipelines and improve observability and SLAs

Collaborate with stakeholders to align architecture with business objectives and mentor junior team members

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field

3+ years of experience in data engineering or related fields, focusing on data quality and infrastructure

Proficiency in data engineering technologies such as Databricks, PostgreSQL, Python, Spark, and AWS

Ability to approach problems with first principles thinking and work collaboratively on complex solutions
