Job Title : Part-Time Clinical Dietitian

Location : Richardson, TX 75080

Schedule : Part-Time, Flexible Hours M-F (approx. 4-5 hours a day)

Position Summary :

An LTAC facility in Richardson is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Clinical Dietitian to join their team. The ideal candidate will provide evidence-based medical nutrition therapy to patients in long-term acute care units.

• Qualifications :

Licensure and Certification :

Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

Licensed Dietitian (LD) in the state of Texas.

Experience :

Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in hospital settings, preferably with exposure to long-term acute care environments.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with long-term acute care nutrition.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements for nutrition services in healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients with complex medical conditions.

Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Participate in IDT meetings, contributing to holistic patient care strategies.

Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and their families.

Monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition plans as necessary.

Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards.

Document all assessments, interventions, and patient interactions accurately and promptly.
