Our client is seeking a professional with a background in agriculture and skills in financial planning and analysis to help drive smart decisions and long-term growth in a region known for its rich farming heritage and coastal lifestyle.

Description

Lead the creation and management of budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans to guide business decisions.
Prepare regular financial reports with variance analysis and recommend adjustments to improve results.
Build and maintain financial models that support planning, investment decisions, and “what-if” scenarios.
Work closely with operations, sales, and other teams to align financial plans with company goals.
Analyze profitability, costs, and ROI to identify risks, trends, and new opportunities for growth.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required, MBA or advance degree preferred.

5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and management reporting.

Expert financial modeling and advanced Excel skills; proficiency in ERP and financial planning systems.

Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.

Experience in agriculture, produce, or food manufacturing industry preferred.

Strong business judgment and results-driven mindset

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
