Emergency Department Manager
Responsible for the day to day operations of the Emergency Department. Engages and maintains partnerships throughout the system and community to facilitate a multi-disciplinary approach for planning and implementing clinical protocols and practice in the care of the acutely ill and injured population. Leads practice innovations that produce quality outcomes and a culture of safety. Builds a strong team through recruitment, retention, education, and competencies.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) Required
Experience Qualifications
3 years Nursing experience. Required1 year Supervising or managing others. RequiredA3 and / or LEAN experience. PreferredSkills and Abilities
Knowledge / understanding of the department standards related to the care of the acutely ill or injured patient. Demonstrated success in clinical practice and team building.
