Site Inspector I, II, III
Compensation : $55 / hr. $85 / hr. (based on level and experience) Location : Midland, TX Schedule : 5 / 2 | MondayFriday
Position Overview
We are hiring multiple Site Inspectors (Levels I, II, III) to join the Project Inspection Quality Assurance Team. These roles will monitor, assess, and verify quality inspection activities performed by EPC contractors, ensuring that equipment and materials meet company specifications, regulatory standards, and statutory requirements. Inspectors will support project execution by identifying issues early, driving resolution, and providing quality oversight across civil, structural, mechanical, and other disciplines.
Responsibilities by Level
Site Inspector I
- Implement Project Site Inspection Surveillance Plan for assigned scope
- Assess contractor quality programs, ITPs, and control procedures
- Perform verification of inspections across civil and infrastructure works (earthwork, concrete, steel erection, grouting, tanks, etc.)
- Witness testing and hold points as defined in ITPs
- Review contractor documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Support punch-list preparation and verification of completion
- Provide QA support to the Project Management Team
Site Inspector II
All Level I responsibilities, plus :Perform discipline-specific quality inspections per Inspection and Test PlanMonitor production processes and conduct surveillance activitiesReview / evaluate contractor and supplier quality documentationSupport Mechanical Completion processKeep Quality supervision informed on inspection status and issuesSite Inspector III
All Level I & II responsibilities, plus :Provide subject matter expertise to resolve quality problemsAttend and contribute to kick-off, pre-inspection, and alignment meetingsConfirm readiness for work and verify key project documentationMonitor contractor and supplier QA / QC activities, processes, and proceduresWitness acceptance tests and final checks prior to equipment / material handoverSteward and resolve non-conformance issues; provide early warning of potential quality risksSkills and Qualifications (All Levels)
Experience in quality assurance / control within engineering, procurement, or construction activitiesTechnical training or high school diploma requiredTechnical discipline certifications preferred (commensurate with experience)Strong understanding of inspection and QA / QC processesAbility to integrate effectively into teams and adapt to changing prioritiesWillingness to travel domestically / overseas to project sites as neededStrong communication and interpersonal skills
