Senior Scheduler – High-Rise Construction
About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading general contractor specializing in high-rise residential and commercial projects , is seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler to join their project controls team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and is passionate about delivering complex, large-scale projects on schedule.
The Senior Scheduler will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and maintaining project schedules throughout all phases of construction—from preconstruction through completion—ensuring milestones are achieved and potential delays are proactively mitigated.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage comprehensive CPM schedules using Primavera P6 for high-rise construction projects.
Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to gather schedule data and progress updates.
Perform critical path, float, and variance analyses to identify potential risks and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare and present detailed schedule reports, narratives, and look-ahead forecasts for internal and client use.
Review subcontractor schedules for accuracy and alignment with the master project schedule.
Support claims analysis, delay mitigation, and time-impact assessments when required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent field experience.
Minimum 7+ years of experience in scheduling for high-rise or large-scale commercial construction.
Proficiency in Primavera P6; experience with MS Project or other scheduling tools is a plus.
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, logistics, and means & methods.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders across project teams.
