Permanent Supportive Housing Project Coordinator
Clover Place is a new DESC housing site that will include 95 units of affordable housing in Seattle's Woodland neighborhood. This vital project will provide stable, supportive housing and 24 / 7 on-site services for single adults living with disabilities and experiencing chronic homelessness. The community will also feature welcoming indoor and outdoor common spaces.
The Permanent Supportive Housing Project Coordinator reports to the Project Manager, and works closely and collaboratively with Clinical, Facilities, and other PSH staff, as well as with outside vendors, to provide operational support to the building and its tenants, with special emphasis on challenges related to severe and persistent mental illness and substance use disorders.
Major duties and responsibilities include : assisting Project Manager with program operation tasks, assisting with personnel-related activities, assisting with leasing activities, working cooperatively and congenially with PSH staff, providing operational support for unit remediation and maintenance efforts, coordinating with outside vendors for pest inspections, initiating appropriate response to maintenance requests, completing routine unskilled maintenance, and being proficient in the monitoring and use of building fire safety, surveillance, and electronic entry systems.
Other duties and responsibilities include managing building operations in the absence of other project and clinical staff, operating all functions in lobby office, maintaining safety and security, intervening in crises, responding to emergencies, writing significant events in a daily log, and other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree, extensive relevant work experience, project management / coordination skills, strong organizational skills, familiarity with DESC software programs, basic understanding of homelessness, and experience in human services.
Preferred qualifications include one year's experience as a DESC Residential Counselor or other residential property operations / management setting, current Washington State Driver's License, insurable driving record, ability to drive agency van and transport tenants, and experience working with people living with mental illness and substance use disorders.
Physical demands include sitting for long periods of time, communicating with other persons by talking and hearing, lifting and carrying items weighing up to 25 pounds, and operating computer hardware systems. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Salary : $78,013.20 - $88,264.56 annually
