As a Director, Tax

your essential job functions will include the following :

• Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company’s tax position while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and international tax laws.
• Oversee preparation and review of all tax filings, including income, sales / use, property, and other applicable taxes.
• Manage relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and government agencies.
• Lead the annual and quarterly global income tax provision process to ensure accurate and timely reporting in financial statements (ASC 740 Accounting for Income Taxes) with a focus on partnership-related items.
• Oversee the coordination / preparation of all international income tax returns and estimated tax payments and review the return to provision calculations to identify the tax impact to the financial statements.
• Oversee all aspects of the indirect tax function, including sales and use taxes, property taxes, franchise taxes and other business taxes.
• Identify and implement domestic and foreign tax planning opportunities to minimize both US GAAP and cash taxes.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and business development teams to support strategic initiatives and transactions including mergers, acquisitions and dispositions.
• Provide guidance and training to internal teams on tax-related matters.
• Actively monitor changes to US and foreign tax laws and regulations to determine the tax reporting and financial statement impacts.
• Manage the coordination of SOX reporting and controls for all income tax processes. Establish and maintain the tax department policies and procedures.
