BART is recruiting a director-level leader to oversee a fully funded, multi-billion-dollar Core Capacity and communications-based train control (CBTC) modernization program – one of the largest capital efforts in the agency's history. Reporting to the Chief Infrastructure Delivery Officer, this role leads end-to-end delivery across engineering, construction, systems integration, project controls, and contractor partners. You'll drive innovation through alternative delivery methods, ensure on-time / on-budget execution, and collaborate closely with the Federal Transit Agency and federal funding partners. Ideal Candidate A seasoned infrastructure and capital delivery executive with deep experience in major transit, rail, CBTC, systems integration, construction, or FTA-funded projects.
