BluePath Labs is a fast-growing research and management consulting company focused on the challenging research problems for both government and private sector clients. BluePath is looking for at least one (1) Defense Research Analyst to support open-source research in China's defense and military sectors. Candidates must be a U.S. citizen to apply.

The Research Analysts must be able to read, translate, and analyze source documents and publications in Mandarin. There is no specific undergraduate or graduate degree major requirement but there is a preference for candidates with previous technical analysis of the Chinese aerospace and defense sectors. This position also provides the opportunity to contribute regularly to "The China Intelligence" publication in partnership with DefenseOne and Peter Singer.

The Research Analyst will work with a dynamic and accomplished team on data collection, developing a keyword searchable database and reference system, and supporting research analysis. The position is primarily remote. If / when there is a return to the office, our team may meet once a week at BluePath offices near Foggy Bottom at 2101 L ST NW, Washington, D.C. This is a full-time salaried position with competitive benefits.
