As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a healthcare location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, interacting with staff, patients, and visitors, and delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do :
Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency response activities when appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations at the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site-specific protocols.Support hospital staff during emergency situations, including providing directions and assistance to visitors and patients when needed.Complete detailed reports and documentation regarding incidents, patrols, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.Minimum Requirements :
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.A guard card or license is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
