🏥 ICU Registered Nurse – Travel Assignment\n📍 Unit : Intensive Care Unit (ICU)\n🛏️ Beds : 8-bed unit (Avg. census : 3–4 patients)\n🕒 Shifts : 12-hour shifts (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM or 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)\n📅 Scheduling : Self-scheduling to some degree; schedule released 30–45 days in advance\n📆 Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend or 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule\n🩺 Orientation : 2–3 floor-specific shifts\n\n👩‍⚕️ Patient Ratios & Support : \n\nNurse-to-Patient Ratio : 1 : 1 to 1 : 2\n\nCharge Nurse : Yes, also takes a patient assignment\n\nUnit Clerk : Yes\n\nNurse Aides : No\n\nRespiratory Therapy : On-site 24 / 7\n\nPharmacy : On-site 10 hrs / day; Telepharmacy available after hours\n\nIV Team : No\n\nHospitalist / Intensivist : Not in-house 24 / 7 but available 24 / 7\n\nTelemetry : Phillips monitoring system (central monitoring tech supports ER and ICU)
