On-Board Services is hiring a Systems Integration Engineer in San Jose, CA!

Position Details :

Position Type : Full Time / Contract-to-Hire (after 3 to 6 months)

Job Location : San Jose, CA (relocation assistance available for non-local candidates)

Schedule : Monday - Friday, nominally 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM; occasional on-call support

Compensation : $43 - $60 / hr, depending on experience and qualifications

Overview / Summary :

Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on projects including semi-conductor, industrial and commercial facilities. You’ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering and programming tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. You’ll also provide on-site assistance during startup, coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead. Your primary focus will be on configuration and programming of facility management system PLCs and HMI / SCADA interfaces. The role has opportunity in growth expansion to work with our team in highly complex systems. The multi-discipline, highly interactive team produces designs for electrical circuits and panels utilizing CAD applications, designs for control systems for a variety of facility core and shell processes and develop options and optimizations for all aspects of the process control, instrumentation, and automation. Your role keeps our company connected and we’ll support you with what you need to be successful.

Required Qualifications :

• Associate of Applied Science Degree in Electronics or Instrumentation
• At Least 3 years of Industrial System Integration Experience
• Knowledge of PLCs and SCADA systems
• Experience with Rockwell and Client / Emerson PLCs
• Experience with inductive automation Ignition software packages
• Knowledge of Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID)
• Proficient in using Microsoft Suite including MS Word, Access, Outlook and Excel.
