Job Overview :

Alta Group is seeking an experienced and driven Tile & Flooring Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations on residential tile and flooring projects. This is a high-impact leadership role for a skilled tradesperson who excels at managing crews, delivering top-quality installations, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will serve as the on-site point person, working closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to bring flooring and tile visions to life.

Key Responsibilities :

Supervise field operations across multiple tile and flooring job sites.

Schedule and coordinate crews, subcontractors, and material deliveries.

Ensure jobsite safety and enforce Alta Group’s safety and quality standards.

Perform daily site inspections to ensure workmanship and adherence to specs.

Maintain accurate field documentation, including timesheets and daily logs.

Communicate progress and challenges to project managers.

Conduct weekly meetings with clients and contractors to ensure alignment.

Train and mentor field staff to improve team performance.

Manage budgets and labor efficiency to meet project targets.

Qualifications :
• Required :

4+ years of hands-on supervision in tile, flooring, or related construction trades.

Strong knowledge of tile systems, flooring products, and install sequencing.

Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical specs.

Proven leadership and communication skills.

Experience with Buildertrend, Procore, or similar field reporting tools.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

OSHA 30 or equivalent safety certification.

Experience managing multiple crews or concurrent projects.

Degree in Construction Management or a related field is a plus.

Schedule :

Full-Time — Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM

May require early mornings, extended hours, or weekend work based on project needs.

Location :

Based in Everett, WA with regular travel to project sites throughout Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, Issaquah, and surrounding communities.
