Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues efficiently. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the highest quality of work on various vehicle makes and model

Responsibilities
Automotive Technician for Motor Vehicles makes visual inspection of vehicles to determine the extent of service requirements and materials needed. Uses Mitchell Repair, All-Data and service manuals to ascertain technical informationDrives customers vehicles onto hoist or jack in preparation for inspection, tire rotation and LOF maintenanceInspects tire tread depth, wear conditions, air pressure and reset TPMS positions as required following the tire rotation processInspects brakes for wear conditions and remaining pad depthInspects all attrition components of the vehicle to include but not limited to belts, hoses, wipers, light bulbs, linkages, chassis components such as ball joints, struts / shocks and bushingsInspects battery for corrosion and adequate cranking amperage utilizing a current reporting type battery testerPresent findings to sales associate team for estimation and presentation to the consumer for additional servicesPerforms standard oil and lubrication services and disposes of used fluids according to requirementsPerforms tire rotation or minor maintenance servicesDesired Qualifications
High school graduate or comparable vocational trainingAt least 3-5 years as a Tech ExperienceMust have knowledge of non-technical tire and auto service processes and procedures Knowledge of systems software pertaining to automotive servicingMust have own toolsFamiliarity with tire and lube requirements and specificationsKnowledge of Mitchell Repair and All-DataMaintain safe and clean work areaAbility to work independently
