Agriculture Claims Supervisor

Under general direction, the position is responsible for the supervision and claim management of the property and casualty segment. The Supervisor will provide technical guidance and training to new hires. Selected candidate must be reside in California. What you will do :

• Performs typical supervisory duties, such as hiring, motivating, coaching, retention, ongoing training and development of associates.
• Manages overtime and reporting, and managing utilization of company equipment or vehicles of team members.
• Evaluates performance, prepares performance appraisals, and recommends salary actions in accordance with established corporate standards of performance and company policy.
• Ensures all claims professionals demonstrate technical and customer service excellence.
• Conducts claim file reviews or inspections for quality control and performance evaluation purposes, and initiates correction actions as necessary.
• Provides technical advice to claims professionals on the team, communication of industry data and trends, and new legal issues as necessary.
• Strengthens operational performance by assisting with the development of initiatives, efficient processes and procedures to deliver exceptional claims service in response to customer needs and industry trends.
• Assists with ongoing enhancement and communication of Best Claims Practices, policies and procedures, training materials, and claim system "rules".
• Ensures compliance with state and federal laws and regulations, company best practices, corporate values, and communications.
• Works productively and harmoniously with others on a consistent basis.
• Responds positively to direction and feedback on performance.
• Consistently maintains professional and appropriate demeanor.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The expected salary range for this position is $106,570.24-$133,212.80. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job level.
