Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Medical Lab Scientist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 10 / 27 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours Employment Type : Travel Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) Flemington, NJ 13 Weeks 40 Hours Nights (11 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM) Additional Information : Position Overview : We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) with a strong background in Microbiology and Chemistry. The ideal candidate will have experience with positive blood cultures, spinal fluid gram stains, and familiarity with molecular testing. Experience with Roche Chemistry analyzers or middleware is highly desirable. Proficiency in Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), particularly Soft and SoftMIC, will make a candidate stand out. Key Responsibilities : Perform laboratory tests and analyses in Microbiology and Chemistry. Interpret and report test results accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, including Roche Chemistry analyzers. Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols and safety regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. Shift Details : Shift : Nights, 11 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM Schedule : Every other weekend required End Date : Tentatively through 9 / 1 (to cover a military leave) Qualifications : Experience Required : Minimum of 2 years as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) Certifications : ASCP certification required; BLS certification preferred but not mandatory Scrubs : No specific color required Additional Notes : Holiday Blackout : July 4th weekend is not eligible for time off if starting before this date.
