General Summary

Directs a comprehensive hardware product strategy from product conception and definition through end of life. Functions as a central resource with design, process, manufacturing, quality, test, marketing, and distribution as the product(s) and / or product line(s) move through their life‑cycle. Formulates and executes long‑term road‑maps for cost / profit control. Promotes use of new technologies and industry‑leading trends. Directs and leads those involved in the design, modification, and evaluation of all phases of a specific product or group of products. Involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product's life‑cycle including modifications, upgrades, and maintenance of the product or product line.

• Experience working within a fast‑paced, dynamic marketing organization
• Cellular phone hardware system knowledge
• Understanding of handset RF subsystem
• Understanding of baseband peripherals and interfaces
• 8 years handset analog design experience preferred
• Team player with a 'can do' attitude
• Detail oriented, strong problem‑solving skills
• Interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to evaluate and analyze objectively
• Communication, language, writing and editing skills
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to work independently while having strong interpersonal skills to work on cross‑functional teams
• Familiar with business decision making and processes

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits : $196,000.00 - $294,000.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales‑incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
