Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : December 8, 2025 - End : March 9, 2026) Shift : 12-hour night shifts (18 : 45 - 07 : 15), 3 shifts per week Total Weekly Hours : 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Salary : $2000-$2050 Employment Type : Travel RN, On-Site Patient Population : Adults and geriatrics Unit : Neuroscience ICU (NSICU), 10 beds Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Neuro ICU nursing experience required Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (AHA or ARC only) Proficiency with EPIC charting system Clinical skills in EVD, ICP monitoring, CRRT, angiogram post-care, carotid and embolization procedures Ability to float to other ICUs and Med-Surg units as needed COVID-19 and Flu vaccination required (medical / religious exemptions considered) Weekend and holiday availability required Tobacco and fragrance-free healthcare facility Neuro ICU RN Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neuro and neurosurgical patients, including stroke and post-operative neurosurgery cases Manage advanced ICU interventions : EVD, ICP, CRRT, ventilator management, hemodynamic and blood pressure monitoring Administer emergency medications, titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips, and manage acute stroke / CVA protocols Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV therapy, respiratory, physical therapy, pharmacy, and more) Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC and adhere to infection prevention protocols Float to other ICU and Med-Surg units, providing high-quality patient care Participate in unit-based quality initiatives and uphold DNV Comprehensive Stroke Accreditation standards Why York, PA?
