DIETARY AIDES, Part Time – Generations Oakton Arms, Des Plaines, IL

Generations at Oakton Arms, an Independent and Assisted Living Facility in Des Plaines, IL, has an Immediate Opening for a Part Time Dietary Aide. The Schedule is Monday - Sunday, from 3 pm - 7 pm :

New Higher Pay Rate of $17 per hour!

Responsibilities of the Dietary Aide :

Assist the chef in the preparation and service of food and beverages

Coordinate daily dietary services with the nursing staff

May serve food to bed residents

Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal Food Sanitation Codes

Ensure that work area is consistently clean and safe

Requirements :

of the Dietary Aide :

Illinois Food Sanitation Certification (or ability to attain this upon hire)

Some experience in a food preparation environment a plus

Must be able to understand, speak and write English

Good verbal communication skills

Compassion, understanding and tolerance for older adults
