General Summary

The APP, under the supervision of the physicians, is responsible for providing comprehensive clinical care to patients with steatotic liver disease and related gastroenterology conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• See patients in the clinic, including new patients and routine follow‑up.
• Perform patient histories and physical exams in the office and hospital setting.
• Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests, such as labs and imaging.
• Monitor the patient’s course of treatment and make appropriate referrals to other specialists, as needed.
• Collaborate with physician supervisor to provide consistent care to patients and support staff.
• Display a caring and professional attitude at all times.
• Document clinical encounters in a timely and thorough manner.
• Commit to providing high quality care and delivering an excellent patient experience.
