Warehouse Worker
As a Warehouse Worker, you'll play a vital role in keeping our field operations running smoothly. You'll manage inventory, support installers and technicians, prepare materials for jobs, and help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient warehouse environment. Your work ensures that every install begins with the right materials delivered accurately and on time.
Responsibilities
Perform inventory counts and update materials using the ERP system
Receive, store, and organize tools, equipment, and materials
Pull and load job materials, ensuring accurate transfers
Assist technicians and installers with loading/unloading
Train with the Fabricator to learn modification processes
Deliver doors and related materials to job sites as needed
Communicate with sales and office teams regarding part availability
Maintain a safe, clean, and productive warehouse environment
Operate a forklift safely and effectively
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
12 years of warehouse experience required
Fabrication experience preferred
Valid driver's license
Skills & Abilities
Ability to track and manage inventory within an ERP system (Oracle preferred)
Skilled in safely loading, unloading, and storing materials
Basic knowledge of fabrication processes and willingness to learn
Strong communication skills with technicians, installers, and office staff
Competent in Microsoft Office and ERP software for data entry
Mechanically inclined; comfortable working with tools and equipment
Able to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards
Strong problem-solving skills related to inventory and job site needs
Proficient in basic math; able to read and use a tape measure accurately
Work Environment
Warehouse setting with varying temperatures and noise levels
Fast-paced, supportive, team-oriented atmosphere
Occasional interaction with customers and vendors
May require visits to customer sites such as hospitals, pharmaceutical facilities, offices, and retail locations
Physical Requirements
This role requires:
Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and handling materials
Ability to stoop, kneel, climb, crouch, and balance
Lifting/moving up to 100 lbs frequently, and up to 150 lbs occasionally
Two-person lift required for items over 50 lbs
Ability to work at heights using ladders
Strong visual abilities including depth perception, close/distance vision, and peripheral vision
