Hours : 6 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM with 30% 1 : 00 PM – 11 : 30 PM shifts as needed

On-Call : 6 weekday and 6 weekend calls in 6-week rotation

Position Overview : HumanEdge Health is seeking a Travel OR RN for a Level 1 Trauma Center in Bridgeport, CT. The ideal candidate will be proficient in high-acuity surgical care, with experience in trauma, orthopedic, spine, neuro, and other specialty cases. Flexibility to cover occasional weekend shifts and call responsibilities is required.

Key Responsibilities : Provide perioperative care for patients undergoing General, Robotics (DaVinci & Mako Ortho), Urology, ENT, Neuro (cervical fusion, lumbar laminectomy), Plastics (abdominoplasty, breast augmentation), GYN, and orthopedic procedures including total hip and total knee replacements

Utilize EPIC, SurgiCount, and TECSYS systems (preferred) to document patient care and track surgical instrumentation

Collaborate with multidisciplinary OR team to ensure safe and efficient surgical procedures

Respond to on-call requirements for weekdays and weekends as scheduled

Assist with patient assessment, intraoperative care, and post-anesthesia recovery

Requirements : Required :

Minimum 3 years of OR experience in a Level 1 trauma center

Proficiency in General Surgery, Robotics, Ortho, Spine, Neuro, Urology, ENT, Plastics, and GYN procedures

Experience with total joint replacement cases (total knees, total hips – anterior and posterior approaches)

Willingness to work call as described

Preferred :

Previous travel experience

EPIC, SurgiCount, and TECSYS experience
