Description :
This is a 60-bed acute-care, full-service facility.
It is fully accredited and certified as an accredited Chest Pain Center.
The facility has a 24-hour Emergency Department.
The area is known for its wine country and is a fantastic destination for wine and beer lovers.
Enjoy unique experiences such as vineyard tours and local microbrewery visits.
Foraging for Oregon truffles and participating in "Top Chef" food tours are also popular activities.
Outdoor enthusiasts can explore the beauty of the Cascade foothills and historical landmarks.
Fly fishing the local rivers and visiting local shops or spas are additional attractions.
The candidate will work alongside a night ultrasound tech.
There are also order prep tasks to supplement slower times.
The environment is supportive, with team members happy to provide assistance.
Patient volumes on nights typically consist of 5-6 CT exams and 8-10 X-ray exams.
This volume is manageable for one person covering both modalities.
A call person is available if the volume becomes too high.
The equipment includes advanced CT and X-ray machines, all digital.
EHR systems used are Meditech and Change Healthcare.
The position involves working with various patient populations, with minimal pediatric work.
Surgery C-Arm and Fluoroscopy experience is preferred but not required.
The shift supports inpatient and emergency department exams, including trauma and stroke workflows.
The ideal candidate should be task-oriented, a team player, and possess good communication skills.
Required education includes relevant licensure and BLS certification.
The dress code is solid color scrubs, with light blue scrubs provided and laundered by the facility.
Unacceptable attire includes open-toed shoes and shorts.
This position serves as a replacement for existing staff.
