Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Dispatch Operating Assistant (DOA) to support their Dispatch Department. The DOA will assist with coach tracking, ensure smooth evening operations, and complete other ad hoc tasks to meet the needs of the business. Qualified candidates will have strong observational skills, independently take initiative, and practice good judgement and reliability.

Location : Spring Valley, NY

Reports to : Dispatcher

Schedule : Onsite Sunday-Friday and / or Saturday 4 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Employment Type : Full-Time

Hourly Rate : $24.00 - $28.00 USD / Hour

Benefits : 401(k)

Key Responsibilities

• Support the evening dispatch team in managing incoming driver communications and trip updates.
• Track and document lost items reported by passengers or drivers.
• Maintain an organized and secure Lost & Found System.
• Perform dispatch-related tasks assigned between 4PM 12 AM.
• Monitor coach movements and ensure dispatch is aware of any irregularities.
• From 8 : 00 PM onward, operate independently, maintaining vigilance over late driver check-ins and vehicle status.
• Remain visible, present, and ready to assist during all work hours.

Qualifications

Compensation : The published salary range is used as a guide to provide prospective candidates with a level of compensation that is competitive with today's market. The salary range for this position is a good faith estimate that allows for flexibility to align with various levels of experience, education, and performance.
