  • Patient Demographics : Adults
  • Patient Volume / Census : Full-time coverage required
  • Phone Consults : As needed
  • Case Mix : Solid tumor oncology and hematology

    • FACILITY INFORMATION

  • No. of Beds in Hospital : 590
  • EMR System : Epic
  • Specialty Backup Available : Full-time APP support
  • Support Staff Available : Full-time advanced practice provider and clinical team
  • Reason for Coverage : Supplemental coverage (vacancy)
  • Orientation : 4 hours, non-billable
  • Observed Holidays : Facility recognized holidays

    • PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

  • Hospital Privileges Required : Yes
  • Credentialing Timeline : 90 days with active license, 120 days if new license required

    • COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Orientation : 4 hours non-billable
  • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered

    • REQUIRED PROCEDURES

  • Standard hematology and oncology procedures including evaluation and management of solid tumor cases

    • JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Licenses : Active Minnesota license or IMLC accepted (willing to license)
  • Board : Board Certified in Hematology / Oncology (required)
  • DEA : Active DEA (required)
  • Certifications : BLS (required)
  • Experience : Prior outpatient hematology / oncology experience preferred
  • Other Qualifications : Proficiency in Epic EMR; ability to function in float pool coverage model

    • DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care to outpatient population
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions
  • Collaborate closely with APPs and multidisciplinary team
  • Participate in treatment planning and follow-up care coordination
  • Document all patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR
