The Warehouse Manager is a hands-on leader who takes full command of parts inventory, warehouse operations, and distribution activities. This role ensures materials move through every stage efficiently, accurately, and safely. Youll lead a skilled team, coordinate with multiple departments, and use ERP to drive performance, visibility, and accountability across the operation.
Youll maintain optimal stock levels, deliver on schedule, and uphold the companys standards for quality, accuracy, and service. This position requires operational discipline, sound judgment, and a leadership style that earns respect on the floor and in the boardroom alike.
Key Responsibilities
Parts & Warehouse Operations
- Direct all warehouse activities including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Maintain accurate inventory through forecasting, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
- Design and maintain an efficient warehouse layout that supports smooth material flow and maximizes space.
- Oversee parts distribution to manufacturing, service centers, and external customers, ensuring on-time delivery.
- Partner with procurement, production, and service teams to anticipate demand and prevent delays.
- Ensure consistent Epicor utilization for tracking, accuracy, and full visibility of materials movement.
- Uphold operational disciplineaccuracy, safety, and efficiency are the foundation of performance.
Team Leadership

Track and analyze key metrics for inventory accuracy, fulfillment, and supplier performance.Prepare clear, data-driven reports and communicate progress to leadership.Identify and lead process improvements that reduce waste and increase productivity.Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse functions.Champion Epicor system utilizationtrain others, troubleshoot issues, and promote data integrity.Safety & Compliance

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum of 5 years experience managing parts inventory or warehouse operations, preferably in manufacturing.Proven track record of leading teams and driving results.Advanced knowledge of Epicor or similar ERP systems.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.Excellent communication and leadership presence at all levels.Understanding of safety regulations, inventory controls, and logistics best practices.Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies preferred.
