Adelphi is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support a school in South Carolina. The BCBA will conduct FBAs, develop and oversee BIPs, participate in IEP / 504 meetings, provide staff training, and ensure compliance with IDEA and Section 504. Services are delivered on an as-needed basis in collaboration with school staff and families.

Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standingCompliance with all South Carolina and District licensure requirementsDemonstrated experience providing BCBA services in public school settingsStrong knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and applicable educational regulationsProven ability to collaborate with educators, families, and school-based teamsExpertise in conducting FBAs and writing effective BIPs within school systemsResponsibilities :
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) in school settingsDesign, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)Provide direct crisis intervention and de-escalation support when neededParticipate in IEP and 504 meetings, offering expert behavioral insightsEnsure compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and district requirementsCollaborate with administrators, teachers, paraprofessionals, and familiesDeliver staff training on behavioral strategies, data collection, and intervention fidelityOffer in-classroom coaching and modeling of evidence-based practicesMaintain accurate and timely documentation of all services providedSupport proactive strategies that promote positive school climate and reduce behavioral incidentsAny other duties as assigned.
