Position Summary :

Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of special technical procedures, performed with the CT scanner and MRI.

Pay Breakdown :

$58.14 / hr Taxed ($2,093.04 / wk Taxed) + $1,246.00 / wk Per Diem Eligibility = $3,339.04 / wk Gross Eligibility after 36hrs worked!

Schedule :

Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6pm-630am

AART (CT)

BLS

GE CT EQUIPMENT EXPERIENCE IS A MUST

2 years experience

Qualifications :

Required : ARRT registered in one or both of either the CT and / or MRI registries. Licensed in the State of Oregon; and Has qualifications and experience determined to be adequate by Director of department and lead technologist to operate equipment and evaluate images obtained. Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred : Lic / Reg / Cert : Oregon licensure, and ARRT registered in one or both of either the CT and / or MRI.

Call Rotation

Travelers rotate call four weekdays one week, with the weekend off, and then off the next four weekdays and on the weekend

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

Maintains a positive and professional atmosphere for patients, physicians and co-workers.

Performs all duties of a CT and MRI Technologist.

Demonstrates interpersonal skills necessary in order to interact effectively with patients who may be under physical or emotional stress and gather and exchange patient information with nursing personnel and physicians.

Transfers and properly positions patients for examinations in order to obtain desired radiographic results according to physician's specifications.

Provides immobilization as required and protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards.

Trained in transferring images from CT or MRI modality into PACS.
