Job descriptionIV Administration : Start and monitor IV therapy, ensuring safe and effective fluid administration. Client Monitoring : Assess client’s physical health, including vital signs, and monitor their response to treatment. Infection Management : Prevent and manage infections associated with IV therapy. Assessment : Conduct physical assessments, including evaluating mental status, and identify any contraindications to IV therapy. Documentation : Maintain accurate records of client interactions, therapy services, assessments, and treatment responses. Client Communication : Effectively communicate with clients about their therapy, ensuring they understand the process and feel comfortable throughout their treatment. Additional Duties : Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations. Education / Certification : Credentialed as an RN (Registered Nurse), EMT - Paramedic Required Knowledge : Expertise in venous access with the ability to access peripheral veins. Experience : Minimum of 2 years in vascular access or IV infusion, with strong venous access skills. Skills : Strong interpersonal and communication skills Attention to detail and ability to multitask Customer service-oriented with a focus on patient confidentiality Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively Problem-solving abilities and independent judgment Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 to 10-hour shifts, with occasional weekends required. Environment : General clinic setting with climate control and adequate lighting.
