Job Description

We are seeking a diligent General Production Worker responsible for tote washing and sanitization. The role involves using hoses and brushes for cleaning, and the candidate must be comfortable with getting wet. You may also assist in tanker off-loading and support various departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize totes and containers used in manufacturing and logistics.
• Inspect totes for damage or wear and report issues to the supervisor.
• Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning agents following safety and hygiene guidelines.
• Follow protocols for handling and disposing of cleaning materials.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely cleaning and availability of totes.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Essential Skills

• Experience with forklift operation.
• Proficiency in tote washing and sanitization.
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
• Capability to inspect and report on equipment condition.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in general production, assembly, and machine operation.
• Knowledge of packaging and inspection processes.

Work Environment

You will be working in a paint manufacturing facility, where safety and cleanliness are prioritized. The environment requires appropriate dress code to handle cleaning tasks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Salem, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
