Technology Specialist
The Ephrata Area School District - Ephrata, PA, is recruiting for the position of Technology Specialist. This is a full-time, 12-month position starting January 2026. As a member of the Information Technology Department, the purpose of this position is support, maintain, and troubleshoot all technology hardware and software within Ephrata Area School District with emphasis technology in the elementary buildings. The employee will positively contribute as a team member of the technology services department for the betterment of student instruction within Ephrata Area School District.

Primary Technology Specialist for Elementary
PC hardware and software
Education : Associate Degree in the field of technology or similar post high school education.
Experience : Entry-level position / Prior experience in a school district or with IOS devices a plus.
Language Skills : Ability to read, produce, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondences, and memos. Ability to collect data and utilize basic technology to perform job duties.
Math Skills : Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Skills : Ability to apply common sense understanding to conduct written or oral instructions. Ability to communicate professionally and efficiently to solve problems related to assigned student. Ability to use sound judgment and make decisions in the absence of supervisor and work independently.
Other Skills & Abilities : Superior customer service skills in working with both staff, students, and other adults to provide technology support

Other Requirements : Applicants must also possess the following criminal clearances obtained within the last 12 months : Act 34 - PA Criminal Record; Act 114 - FBI Background Check; Act 151 - PA Child Abuse Clearance. The Ephrata Area School District also requires a pre-employment drug test, physical, and TB test upon offer of employment as directed by PDE and the PA Department of Health.
Rate of Pay : Based on experience
