Job Description

Under the supervision of the Grounds Maintenance Manager, the Grounds Maintenance Attendant is responsible for building, ground maintenance functions, and doing related work as required.

Duties / Responsibilities

  • As a Grounds Maintenance Attendant, you will help maintain the lot / grounds.
  • Serve as back-up delivery driver when needed.
  • Assist with washing & detailing machines / boats and assisting technicians.
  • Complete snow removal tasks such as shoveling and plowing as needed during winter months.
  • Delivers merchandise to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary.
  • Performs general warehouse duties when required.
  • Towing boats in and out of storage upon customers’ requests.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills / Qualifications

  • Ability to operate various types of power equipment, including lawnmowers, weed trimmers, forklifts, tractors, trucks, and a variety of hand and powered equipment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

    • Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    • Experience / Education

  • 1+ Grounds Maintenance Experience (Preferred)
  • Experience Towing Trailers and Boats
  • Driver’s license (Required)
  • Clean Driving Record
  • High School diploma or GED (Required)
  • Job Type : Full-Time; Hourly; 40 hrs. / wk. Monday-Friday;
