Role : HR Coordinator - Location : San Diego, CA (On-Site) Type : 6+ Month Contract to Hire Pay Range : $28 / hr. - $30 / hr. Must Haves :
- Associate’s degree or higher education (required)
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Certification of Completion for HR programs (preferred) or applied work experience, as noted below.
- 4+ years previous HR experience (required), preferably in a HR Assistant or HR Coordinator role.
- 3+ years of previous HR experience, specifically in at least two of the following areas : Payroll, Benefits, Safety, and Leave of Absence. (Preferred)
- Minimum of 2+ years of administrative assistance experience
- Good understanding of federal / CA state employment laws in the areas of benefits, leave of absence, payroll, wage & hour, disability and worker’s compensation
- Demonstrated skills with HRIS software, preferably ADP
- Effective collaboration skills
- Effective communication across all levels (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly
- Demonstrated computer skill proficiency in the following MS programs : Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams Pluses
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification
