Core Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assists and educates customers on Life Extension’s unique, cutting-edge formulas and answers health related questions
· Thoroughly reads all Life Extension literature to ensure product knowledge is up to date; achieve an 80% or better on monthly magazines quiz
· Operates cash register
· Performs cycle counts as needed
· Retrieves products and prepares for mail order shipments; replenishes shelves with inventory, block and face store shelves
· Answers incoming and inter-departmental phone calls
· Receives and process customer returns
· Participates in annual physical store inventory
· Performs opening/closing duties as directed according to SOPs and checklists
· Shares ideas, information and experiences that will benefit the Nutrition Center and/or company
· Displays flexibility within the department; willing to make necessary schedule changes based on departmental needs
· Regular onsite attendance is an essential function of this position
· Additional duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
· Intermediate knowledge of vitamins and dietary supplements required; 1+ years of experience in retail environment preferred
· Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Alternative Medicine or related field preferred
· Strong customer service mentality
· Ability to stand up to 95% of the time; ability to lift 10 pounds; must be able to bend, stoop, kneel and reach overhead on a regular basis
