Lindamood Inc. is seeking a seasoned Safety Director with Demolition knowledge to drive safety strategies and enforce standards across high-risk demolition projects. This senior leadership role owns all safety programs, ensures compliance, and partners directly with operations and executive leadership

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee demolition-specific safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Partner with executive leadership on job walks and site safety packets.
• Maintain a strong field presence across active demolition sites and hands-on leadership in the field, supporting superintendents, project managers, and crews.
• Oversee high-risk activities including structural and mechanical demolition, heavy equipment, fall protection, confined spaces, and hazardous materials coordination.
• Lead incident investigations, corrective actions, and emergency response efforts.
• Serve as the primary contact for OSHA inspections, regulatory compliance, and enforcement actions.
• Track safety performance, analyze trends, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction safety experience, with strong demolition expertise.
• OSHA 500 certification required.
• Proven leadership ability with both field crews and senior management.
• Comfortable working in high-risk, fast-paced demolition environments.
