Job description

SUMMARY : Performs all aspects of diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including trauma, surgery, and portables. Produces and evaluates images for technical quality. Must have strong initiative, good verbal and written communication skills, be able to prioritize own workflow with minimal direction. Must possess the skills to function in a fast paced environment, and have the ability to work effectively with other departments.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Graduate of accredited program in ultrasound
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an acute care hospital setting
  • One (1) year experience in ultrasound technology preferred.
  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS
  • Certification in diagnostic ultrasound (ARDMS) within one (1) year of hire
