Job descriptionOversee a team of AR Collectors, providing mentorship and guidance Lead collection efforts to reduce delinquent accounts Resolve billing issues while maintaining strong customer relationships Monitor and manage assigned accounts, including adjustments and reconciliations Communicate with sales and senior leadership on problem accounts Ensure timely processing of payments and accurate documentation Drive continuous improvement in collections processes High school diploma required; Associate degree in Accounting preferred 5-10+ years of experience in collections and accounts receivable Management experience leading and developing staff Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Our client, a leading provider in the food distribution industry, is seeking a Collections Manager to join their dynamic team in Jessup, MD . This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead accounts receivable efforts and make a measurable impact on a growing company. This Collections Manager will be onsite 5 days / week, but will have the ability to work remote if needed when established in the role!
