Procurement Analytics and Excellence Manager, Global Corporate Procurement

Key job responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence initiatives to define roadmap plans develop and manage implementation activities.
• Develop documentation and communications for program / process rollout and ongoing support.
• Establish channels for continuous feedback and improvement across the organization.
• Identifying and mitigating potential risks and obstacles by collaborating closely with business partners key stakeholders and team members. Ensuring Plan Bs are always in place.
• Actively seeking out opportunities to optimize processes reduce inefficiencies and improve overall performance across the organization
• Design processes and procedures that scale with the business growth in volume complexity and global geographic dispersion.
• Applying tools and techniques from Lean and Six Sigma to streamline processes eliminate waste and reduce variation
• Utilizing data to identify trends root causes of problems and measure the impact of improvement initiatives
• Leading and supporting change initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new processes and practices
• Working with teams across different departments to identify and implement improvements ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
• 5 years of business or financial analysis product costing procurement or a quantitative role experience
• Knowledge of advanced skills in Excel as well as any data visualization tools like Tableau or similar BI tools (familiarity with Tableau preferred)
• Experience communicating results to senior leadership or experience performing ad hoc analysis using advanced Excel
• Experience practicing best-in-class procurement processes (category management benchmarking should-cost models RFX reverse auction contracting or equivalent)
• Six Sigma Green Belt or 1 years of team management budget responsibilities supplier management problem solving and client / customer relations experience
• Bachelors degree or MBA in supply chain management operations engineering analytics or related field
• Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R SAS and Matlab
• Track record of implementing digital transformation initiatives in procurement using emerging technologies such as AI-powered procurement tools or blockchain applications
• Prior experience in management consulting or procurement transformation roles with demonstrated ability to drive change management and process optimization programs

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136900 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $203700 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and / or other benefits.
