Responsibilities

• Evaluate and repair small engines, outdoor power equipment, and handheld electrical devices.
• Make equipment recommendations and ensure units are maintained.
• Work in stores with Tool Rental Centers and in repair centers; provide service to store customers in Tool Rental, which includes writing customer contracts and invoices for equipment rental and tool repairs; verify that tools are operating properly and demonstrate proper use when needed.
• Support day-to-day operation and maintenance of equipment in the Tool Rental department.
• In non-store locations, ensure units are repaired, tested for quality, and cleaned prior to returning to the originating store.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all tools and effectively manage tool inventory by maintaining and repairing tools as necessary.
