Role Overview :

The CFO will report to Sri Njay, interface.ai\'s CEO and Founder, as a key member of the senior executive staff and lead all financial operations for the company. Responsibilities will include all FP&A, accounting, business operations, tax, treasury, legal and investor relations. We are looking to hire this executive in the San Jose or SF area.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and improve systems and processes to drive operational excellence and support revenue growth : drive the long-term financial strategy aligned with business growth and scalability; instill a culture of performance management and accountability; implement operating cost discipline to drive margins; leverage software to automate and scale the business; analyze data to inform decisions; shape the company\'s financial narrative and guide fundraising efforts.

Provide cross-functional collaboration and function as an operationally oriented business partner to the leadership team : partner with the CEO and Go-To-Market, customer success, and product teams; provide insights in strategic planning, cash flow management, financing, headcount planning, partnerships, and geographic expansion; balance financial discipline with opportunity exploration.

Lead a strong, inclusive culture and build an international finance team : manage international finance, compliance, and tax strategies; mentor the team; scale processes and systems; drive automation to improve efficiency; support recruiting and development across the organization.

Own the financial model and SaaS metrics : lead planning, analyze ROI on investments, drive resource prioritization; ensure predictability and visibility of financial results; analyze SaaS metrics (CLV, CAC, ARR) to guide strategic decisions.

Qualifications :

Must thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven culture and have experience establishing systems and processes in a technology company; strong operator / leadership skills, KPI implementation, and forecasting optimization.

Demonstrated success as a CFO or VP of Finance at an enterprise SaaS / software company with experience scaling venture-backed, high-growth SaaS environments.

Experience partnering with a founder / CEO; strong cross-functional collaboration with GTM, product, and customer success teams.

Investor relations and financing experience (debt and equity) with treasury exposure; optimize capital allocation and investor communications with fundraising focus.

Exceptional presentation and communication skills with experience presenting to boards, investors, and leadership teams.

Global financial management experience including international finance, compliance, and tax strategies across jurisdictions.

12+ years of increasing financial leadership responsibility with deep experience in operational finance and FP&A; ability to drive value and growth levers at the corporate level.

Experience implementing modern finance tools to scale and influence digital transformation; data-driven with strong analytical skills to improve ROI.

Ability to interpret data quickly to drive decisions; cultural fit with interface.ai\'s collaborative, transparent, and results-oriented environment.

Remote-first company with preference for candidates in the Pacific Time Zone.

Compensation :

Base salary typically between $325,000 - $350,000; exact compensation varies by skills and location.
