Summary of Essential Job Functions
Work chair-side with dentists, perform patient care, and general laboratory dutiesTake and process dental radiographs (x-rays)Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipmentTake impressions of the patient's teeth (models), extractions, composite fillings, etc...Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling)Ask about the patient's medical history and take blood pressure and pulseHelp patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatmentProvide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment proceduresJoin our team and help drive our mission that all children, regardless of family income, deserve access to high-quality dental care, in a kid-friendly and fun environment!At a Glance
Certifications Needed : CDA or RDA is required. X-ray certification required. Additional certifications such as Coronal polishing and Sealant polishing is a plus must have Coronal Polishing certification or be working to obtain it by 11 / 03 / 2025.Experience : Must have Dental Assistant certificationJob Type : Full-time / Part-TimeCompensation and Schedule
